Consultation should always come before recommendations, because every face, concern and medical history is different. Here is what to expect and why an individual assessment matters.
Why begin with a consultation?
A consultation is your opportunity to discuss your concerns, what you would or would not like to change, your facial balance and your medical history. It is where we get to know you before any treatment is ever discussed in detail.
What happens during the consultation?
A consultation typically covers the following:
- —Your concerns and what you hope to address.
- —Your medical history and any medicines you take.
- —Any previous treatments you have had.
- —Your desired outcome and realistic expectations.
- —Suitable options, their limitations and their risks.
- —Costs, aftercare and any follow-up.
- —Whether waiting, or doing nothing at all, may sometimes be preferable.
There is never any obligation to proceed. The consultation is about understanding, not about a sale.
Will I still look like myself?
Natural-looking results come from considered, careful planning and realistic aims. We work with your features rather than against them, and we will always be honest that no specific outcome can be guaranteed.
What should I ask a practitioner?
It is always reasonable to ask a practitioner about their training and experience, their registration where it applies, the products they use, the risks involved, how consent is handled, what aftercare looks like, and how any complications would be managed.
How do I start?
We offer a complimentary consultation for lines, wrinkles or facial volume — without pressure and without commitment. It is simply the first step in working out what, if anything, may be right for you.
